Who can participate?

The NTSN program has been envisaged as an event for schools, though the pyramid will see district and State teams being chosen for the higher levels of the tournament

Schools
All schools in India, irrespective of description, ownership or affiliation, are eligible to participate in the tournaments in :

• Cricket [Boys]
• Football [Boys]
• Basketball [Boys]
• Volleyball [Boys]
• Athletics [Boys & Girls]

Students

• Only bona fide students born on / after January 2003 can participate through their respective school teams.

			U-16 - 1st January 2003 – 31st December 2004

Athletics – disciplines

• Boys / Girls U-14 : 100m, 600m, 1000m, Shotput, High Jump, Long Jump
• Boys / Girls U-16 : 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, Shotput, High Jump, Long Jump

Note: U-16 Boys / Girls Medley relay team will be formed at State Level Competition
One student may take part in 3 events. i.e. 2 track events + 1 field event or 2 field events and 1 track event

School Officials
Physical Education Teachers and Coaches on the rolls of a school are eligible to file their nomination online by going under the drop down of REGISTER AS OFFICIAL on tab REGISTRATION

Other Officials
Umpires, referees and match officials, sportspersons at the State, National and International levels, Sports medicine practitioners and Sports psychologists can file their nominations online by going under the drop down of REGISTER AS OFFICIAL on tab REGISTRATION. The officials will get certificates of participation besides being paid suitable honoraria for services rendered.
